we do?
At LESCUS, our primary focus is on growing seedlings. We oversee approximately 125 hectares of production areas and cultivate around 45 million seedlings annually. Additionally, we provide comprehensive services to forest owners throughout the afforestation or reforestation process, including post-planting care for young forests.
In LESCUS, we firmly believe that trees and their products are essential for future generations. Our commitment to this belief is unwavering—we never cease our efforts. As the growing season concludes in the Northern Hemisphere, we transition to growing in the Southern Hemisphere. Even as the sun sets in Europe, our growing operations continue in South America.
Without forests,

Why do we
produce seedlings?
For nature, trees are essential components of ecosystems, creating environments that sustain life, including humans. They safeguard the land from wind erosion, regulate temperatures by blocking sun rays during the day and prevent excessive heat loss at night. Additionally, they cool the surrounding area and increase humidity. Trees play a vital role in the water cycle and absorb CO2, influencing climate and creating unique microclimates. Oxygen, crucial for human life, is predominantly produced by trees through photosynthesis.
Wood, a renewable and ecologically sound material, serves a multitude of purposes. Fruits from trees are integral to the diets of many organisms, including humans. Insects utilize tree pollen to produce honeydew, while bark, wicker, and twigs are valuable for various purposes such as decorations. Leaf and needle litter enrich the soil, and the presence of a real Christmas tree adds a special ambiance. Trees shape landscapes and are quintessential features of natural scenery.
